What it’s all about
"Art is..." takes its cue from Andy Warhol's famous quote, "Art is anything you can get away with." Curators Moments by Morrel and Christina Hamer Fine Arts are excited to present "Art Is…” This pioneering series continues to reshape perceptions of art, offering a diverse and engaging program that appeals to a broader audience in Edmonton. Our vision includes a multi-sensory blend of visual and performing arts, culinary mastery, and lived experiences through culture exchanges. With this funding we aim to overcome two major hurdles– showcasing vacant downtown spaces in an amazing pop-up style venue and funding to compensate local curators and artists for their time and skill adding to the vibrancy of our city.
